As the days grow shorter and temperatures fall, it’s time to consider your training options. Celebrating the success of the past 11 years of Kickr Lab, we’re thrilled to set our sights on 2026! The Virtual plan will commence in November. Rides will be spearheaded by certified USAT coache Rory Duckworth, providing a chance for deeper coaching insights and valuable tips. Enroll in the 2025/2026 Kickr Lab and commence training with precision, science, and a touch of friendly competition to witness enhanced results in 2024 and beyond!

Kickr Lab is Salt Lake Tri Club’s structured indoor training program designed to keep you strong through the winter and prepare you for early-season races. Whether you’re racing Oceanside, Texas, Puerto Rico, Galveston, Ironman Jacksonville, or just want to maintain fitness, Kickr Lab gives you a plan, structure, and community to train smarter.

Three Program Paths

Choose the track that fits your goals. All plans share the same weekly rhythm, scaled by duration:

Maintenance – stay fit all winter with 1 swim, 3 runs, and 2–3 rides per week

70.3 – build for half-Ironman races

140.6 – build for full Ironman races

How does it work?

We’ve adopted a scientifically validated approach to indoor cycling to optimize your time and yield the best outcomes. The at-home virtual plan is designed for individual sessions at home, complemented by optional online meet-ups. A tailored cycling plan will be crafted for your weekday/weekend routines and integrated into your Free Training Peaks account for effortless tracking and flexibility. All workouts will be compatible with major power programs like Training Peaks, Wahoo’s RTG, Zwift, and Trainer Road, enabling you to follow the regimen at your convenience. This class emphasizes fun but is geared towards transforming you into a cycling powerhouse through interval zone-based training. After a FREE FTP test to gauge and monitor your fitness, we’ll guide you on calculating your zones and their implications, ensuring you make the most of this winter’s training. Coach Rory Duckworth has curated a plan that’s engaging yet demanding, prepping you not just for early races like Oceanside 70.3/Jacksonville 140.6 but for an outstanding 2026 season. Our mission is to foster camaraderie among lab members, help you achieve your 2026 fitness targets, and instill confidence in your cycling abilities. This program welcomes EVERYONE! All you need is a bicycle, a bicycle trainer (rentals available), and a positive mindset. Heart rate monitors and power trainers are recommended but optional.

Why?

Harnessing a scientific methodology, you can maximize your training in a controlled setting while enduring alongside fellow athletes. Recognizing the constraints of time, we’ve devised a program that extracts the most from 60-90 minute weekday home lab sessions and extended weekend kickr lab sessions.

  • $159.00 – Pick Two Virtual Season Plans: Choose any two from Swimming, Cycling, or Running. The Cycling plan features weekend gatherings and special Kickr Lab gear.
  • $199.00 – Complete Virtual Season Package: ALL THREE PLANS – Swimming, Cycling, and Running. The Cycling option comes with weekend get-togethers and signature Kickr Lab swag.
  • $399.00 – Comprehensive Virtual Season Package: ALL THREE PLANS (Swimming, Cycling, and Running). Additionally, join our early morning (in-person) Kickr lab group rides during weekdays and secure a HIVE kickr for weekends. If early mornings don’t suit you, feel free to use the facility at your convenience. This package also offers bike storage at the HIVE and exclusive Kickr Lab merchandise.
