Polly Harris has always loved sports and has been involved with everything from track and field (the field part) and tennis in high school to skiing and ice hockey to full contact karate and muay thai. She started with triathlons over 9 years ago after completing her first half marathon and wanting a bigger challenge! She did shorter distance races for about two years then jumped into her first IRONMAN in 2010 with the local IRONMAN St. George. She has completed 7 full iron distances races including that one.
Polly is drawn to the challenge of triathlons and the sense of accomplishment and strength it gives an athlete as well as the fun and comradery that goes along with it. Her coaching aim is to help newer athletes get involved in the sport, grow and improve to meet their goals.
Polly is an IRONMAN Certified Coach and an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Her USAT Level 1 certification is in process.
